CENTREVILLE'S HOMECOMING 2006

Please spread the word to your friends, neighbours and relatives both here ans away that the Village of Centreville is hosting a HomeComing. This event will mark the 40th Anniversary of the Incoroperation of the Village. Many activities have been planned to make this a fun-filled weekend.

RENEW ACQUAINTENCES AND RELIVE MEMORIES, SHARE YOUR STORIES OF CENTREVILLE AND IT'S PEOPLE.

Dates are Aug. 4, 5, 6. 2006

Planned activities to date are: 

 Fri. Aug. 4

  • Homecoming social- registration-registeration begins Friday evening at the "Centreville Regional High School", entertainment, refreshments
  • Miss Homecoming "Queen"
  • Fireworks
 

Sat. Aug. 5

  • Firemen's Breakfast
  • Tours of Centreville school
  • Walking Tour of Village - information kiosks with story of historic buildings and churches.
  • Parade in the afternoon, games and outdoor activities for young and old.
  • Centreville's Roots- add your family information to Centreville's Roots e-mail early to clerk@aernet.

Sat. Evening

  • Homecoming Banquet awards for various categories. Get your tickets early, will not be available at the door. E-mail village office clerk@aernet.ca
  • Dance to follow 50's, 60's music featuring G.T.O. Band.
 

Sunday Aug. 6

  • Church services at local churches-please check with respective churches for time of services.
  • Outdoor Concert at the tractor pull grounds.

Tractor Pull grounds will accommodate Motor homes, travel trailers, RV's and tents.
